How long does it take to have implant teeth from start to finish?

Is there a treatment time for dental implants that fits all?
There is no universal best treatment routine for dental implants, but there are guidelines to determine the most beneficial schedule for the individual in the matter of longevity and success of the implant treatment. An implant is designed for a lifetime, but like any other surgical treatment it has it's own risks. The dentist's job is to look for the treatment routine to minimize these risks in order to fulfill it's proposed lifespan. A shorter treatment time is always preferable but only in case it does not compromise the success of the treatment. The longer treatment time usually includes healing or waiting periods to reduce risk of failure. View the stages of implant treatment>

What is an immediate implant?
The treatment routine when permanent replacement teeth are fitted straight after tooth or teeth extraction is commonly referred to as immediate implant. But there is no specific dental implant that is classified immediate. It depends on the patients oral (and overall) health and fitness whether the implant teeth can be inserted in one go, or with little or longer delay.

What does the dentist say about dental implant in a day?
I think it is a marvelous dental solution because it evicts most (if not all) discomfort considered regarding tooth replacements. On the other hand unfortunately not all patients are eligible candidates for this rapid treatment routine to place an implant. (Dr Susan Revesz)

What is the treatment routine for implants most people are okay to have?
Most of out patients between the age of 40-60 have the implants finished with a delay of 3-4 month. This means that the implant surgery takes place 3-4 month before the final porcelain teeth are fitted. (Dr Susan Revesz)
